This is a tad off-topic, but it’s a very interesting development for former Hoosier standout and new Los Angeles Clipper Eric Gordon, who was drafted seventh overall just last week.
After opting out of his contract with the Golden State Warriors, point guard Baron Davis recently agreed to sign a 5-year, $65 million contract with the Los Angeles Clippers. He averaged 21.8 points, 7.6 assists, and 4.7 rebounds last season.
This means that the Clippers now have a definitive answer at point guard and can play Gordon at his natural position as shooting guard. Gordon’s floor leadership and overall point guard skills were very questionable, but everybody knows he can score.
Now with Davis running the offense, he gets the chance to do just that while learning the NBA ropes alongside an established veteran. Depending on how quickly Gordon develops, the pair could develop into one of the most dynamic backcourts in the league. If the Clippers can resign… [Read More]

I don’t think the clippers will get either Josh Smith or Okafor. Okafor is nice because he seems like a younger version of Brand and plays better defense. So I hope the clippers can get him. I think the NBA will suprised how good Eric Gordon will be. And Baron Davis can always make the clippers get an #8 seed and defeat another Dallas.
